British Light Dragoons

En mi continuo esfuerzo de no acumular plastico sin pintar ahora estoy trabajando en estos Dragones Ligeros Britanicos de Perry Miniatures que ya llevaban varios meses a medio pintar en mi escritorio de trabajo, fantastico kit de plastico lleno de detalles como nos tienen acostumbrados los hermanos Perry // In my continuous effort trying not to hoard unpainted plastic I have worked on these British Light Dragoons from Perry Miniatures which were sitting on my work bench for a few months in a WIP status, a superb plastic kit full of details per Perry Bros. usual:

Infanteria Britanica

Pintando lo ultimo que falta de la infanteria britanica, tambien en camino unos husares británicos, les dejo mas abajo una foto de como viene la infantería

Highlanders WIP

Aca unas fotos de lo que avance con los Highlanders, voy mas rapido de lo que esperaba // Here a few pictures of my progress with the Highlanders, I am working a bit faster than expected:

Creo que para el fin de semana estaran terminados, pintar el patron del tartan es bastante fiaca. // I think they will be finished by the weekend, painting that tartan pattern was quite laborious.

Ejercito Britanico hasta ahora

Cada vez que veo lo que pinte y lo que me falta por pintar me dan ganas de llorar... bueno no es para tanto, pero casi.

Every time I take a look at what I ve painted so far and what is left to paint I feel like crying... well, it is not that bad, but almost.

En esta ultima foto es importante notar mi falta de conocimiento del periodo al momento de armar la escena cuando pegue las miniaturas a la base, el oficial de artilleria que transporta la municion deberia estar hacia el frente del arma y no atras de la misma. Como auto critica final falta pintar el caison (lo que transporta el cañon) de los colores apropiados.

In this last picture you can note my lack of knowledge about the period at the time when I assembled the miniatures and stuck them on the base, the artillery officer carrying the shot should be to the front of the gun and not behind it. As a last piece of self criticism I have still to paint the caisson (the part that carries the gun).
